Basic Uses
1) Structural glazing and seal of glass curtain walls, aluminum curtain walls, and metal structures; sealing glass directly to metal surfaces to constitute an individual component to meet design requirement of hidden or semi-hidden frame curtain walls.
2) Secondary seal of insulating glass.
3) A variety of other construction and industrial uses.

2) The United States ASTM C 1184-00 Silicone Structural Sealant
Colors
Guibao 992 part A is white, part B is black; black color as mixed.

Guibao 992 part A is supplied in 200L metal drums (net t 240 kg, about 180L) ,Guibao 992 part B in 20 L plastic
pails (net 18kg ,18L )

Ratio by volume 9~11:1
Storage and Shelf Life
Guibao 992 should be stored in dry and cool places over the temperature range from 0 ? to 27?, under which the
shelf life is nine months from the date of manufacture as indicated on product packaging.
Curing Time
Guibao 992 begins its inter-linking reaction as part A and part B is mixed. Its cure will not be influenced
by ambient humidity and its tack-free time has something to do with the mixture ratio of part A to part B.

Application Limitations
Guibao 992 should not be applied:
1) To the materials that bleeds oil , plasticizer or solvent such as the impregnated wood.
2) To the totally confined places, as Guibao 992 requires atmospheric moisture in the air to cure.
3) To frost laden or damp surfaces.
4) To places damp all the year round or continuously immersed in water.
5) Application is not recommended when surface temperature is below 4 ? or over 40 ?.
Safe Handling Information
Completely cured Guibao 992 is not toxic, but avoid contacting eyes before it is cured. If that happens, rinse with a lot of water and seek medical treatment. Uncured Guibao 992 should be kept away from children. The product will give off alcoholic substance, so construction area and cure area should be kept ventilated to avoid the unfavorable effect on human health caused by the over-concentration of alcoholic substance.
