Characteristics

• One part, room temperature cure, easy to use, fast cure rate.
• Excellent weatherability and resistance against ultraviolet rays, ozone, rain, ice ect.
• High elasticity, strong extension and recovery capability, cured sealant remains good elasticity over the temperature range from 50 to 200.
• Specially designed for transparent or semi-transparent materials with high thermal expansion factor such as monitor roofs to ensure that only low tensile and compressive stress will generate when monitor  roofs extend  or contract, and the sealant will not break but retain ever-lasting seal and water-proof performance.
• Excellent unprimed adhesion to common materials for monitor roofs .
• Good transparency, able to be as permeable to light as monitor roofs.
•  It will emit slight amount of low-molecule substance, but this will not erode or stain monitor roofs and affect its appearance.
• The application of the sealant can be carried out over temperature range form 4 to 40 .

• Structural , water-proof and joint seal in monitor roof engineering.
• Glazing and water-proof seal in the assembling of roofs over waiting halls at railway stations, or coach stations and airports.
• Glazing and water-proof seal of light-collecting facilities of gymnasium or entertainment facilities
• Bonding and water-proof seal of advertisement decorations, signboards, electrically illuminated sign cases and so on.

 Packaging

Guibao 993 is supplied in 350ml plastic cartridges (net 300ml).

 Curing Time

As exposed to air, Guibao 993 will immediately react to moisture in the air and begin to cure in a surface- to-interior sequence. Its tack free time is about 30 minutes, and the final cure and optimum adhesion occurs after about 21 days.

 Application Limitations

Guibao 993 should not be applied

• As structural sealant
• To places totally confined as sealant need atmospheric moisture to cure.
• To the surfaces of oil-based materials.

Safe Handling Information

Fully cured Guibao 993 is not toxic, but avoid contacting with eyes. If that happens, rinse with a lot of water and seek medical treatment. Uncured Guibao 993 should be kept away from kids. It will give off low molecule substance while curing, so do keep construction and cure areas well-ventilated to avoid unfavorable effect on human health caused by the over-concentration of low-molecule substance.

Maintenance

Usually there is no requirement of maintenance. If sealants are damaged, remove the dust on the sealant using solvents and then fill the damaged sealant with fresh ones. Guibao sealants feature good adhesion to cured silicone sealants.
